Initially quite a quiet and unassuming dram but not closed. Finish: Medium-long, dry oak wood, hints of honey and malted barley.Taste: Sugary, green apple, grassy hay, some light caramel and honey, lemon cream, butterscotch, highland cream toffee.

It’s hard to tell from the information online, but the 40 might be for the domestic 700ml European market, while the 43 might be for the US 750ml market.
